Tumbling

Ages 4 and up who want to develop acrobatic skills in a safe and supportive environment. This class focuses on basic tumbling techniques, including rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and backbends, progressing to more advanced acro skills as students grow in strength and flexibility. Tumbling helps improve balance, coordination, and body awareness, and is an essential skill for dancers who want to enhance their overall performance ability

Pointe

Available to dancers in 6th grade and up who have at least one year of Ballet Technique and teacher permission. Pointe training focuses on building the strength and technique necessary for dancing on pointe shoes. In this class, students will work on developing proper foot and ankle strength, balance, and alignment while executing exercises at the barre and center. Pointe is a challenging, yet rewarding, aspect of ballet that allows dancers to take their artistry and performance skills to the next level. Dancers must have approval from their teacher to ensure they are physically ready for pointe work.

Leaps/Turns/Jumps

3rd-12th graders who want to perfect their jumps, leaps, and turns. This class focuses on building strength, flexibility, and technical precision to help dancers achieve more advanced movements. Students will work on increasing their height, control, and execution in leaps, mastering turn combinations, and improving their overall air time and balance. This class is ideal for dancers looking to improve their performance in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and other dance styles that require strong aerial movements.

Ballet Technique

3rd-12th graders who want to build a stronger foundation in classical ballet. This class focuses on the core elements of ballet, including proper alignment, strength, flexibility, and control. Ballet Technique is required for all pointe dancers and team members, as it provides the necessary training to progress in these areas.

Conditioning

available for 3rd-12th grade dancers and is required for all team members, though open to any CR dancer looking to improve their strength and flexibility. This class focuses on building overall fitness, including core strength, endurance, and flexibility, through a variety of exercises and drills. Conditioning helps dancers increase stamina, reduce the risk of injury, and improve their performance ability across all dance styles. Whether preparing for a performance or aiming to improve in technique classes, this class is a great addition to any dancer’s routine.
